This recipe will warm your body and nourish your soul. It seriously takes the average chicken soup to a whole new level! Every ingredient to this soup was selected because of its nutrient dense detoxifying and immune supporting properties.
BONE BROTH: This miracle superfood is more than just a fad. It is an all-in-one cure to so many ailments and should be a staple to everyone’s diets. Differ from regular chicken stock, bone broth is made by simmering chicken bones for 16-24 hours in water and organic apple cider vinegar to melt the most amount of nutrients from the cartilage, marrow and feet. It contains healing compounds like glycine, proline, gelatin, collagen, proline, glutamine, chondrotic sulfate, and glucosamine, and is rich in minerals calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, and silicone. ORGANIC AND PASTURE RAISED CHICKEN THIGHS: I like using chicken thighs for this recipe because of the delicious shredding ability. Clean sources of chicken raised without hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, or fertilizers can serve as an anti-inflammatory agent by increasing the omega-3 content of triglycerides in your blood. It also supports cell metabolism and gives you the “feel good” hormones from B vitamins and serotonin production.

- 42 oz of Wise Choice Chicken Bone Broth
- 1 lb organic pasture raised chicken thighs
- 2 cups diced butternut squash
- 1 cup diced turnip
- 1 cup baby carrots
- 2 celery sticks, chopped
- 1 cup baby portobello mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 tbsp dill, chopped
- 2 tbsp Curley parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- Himalayan sea salt (to taste)
- ground black pepper
- 1 can organic no-salt added cannellini beans (optional)
- 1 cup baby kale (per serving)
- nutritional yeast (to taste)
You ready for this…. Prep all ingredients from Wise Choice Bone Broth to Ground Black Pepper and place in crock pot. Cook for 5 hours. Add Cannelini Beans and cook for one more hour. Serve over 1 cup of baby kale in each soup bowl. Sprinkle a teaspoon of nutritional yeast and extra Himalayan sea salt on top to taste. BOOM!
