I ran 12 miles today. Very slowly. I had issues with my new clothes, shoes, and equipment. I also didn’t eat properly or mentally prepare for the run. It is important to stay on track with my food and mindset. It may have been because I was sick two weeks ago, but something was off and I didn’t enjoy my run as much as I usually do.
My marathon is in 87 days!! I need to really buckle down on my training program, sleep, and nutrition! A goal without a plan is just a wish! I will spend the day re-evaluating my schedule and plan. I am excited and ready for my day tomorrow!
